Le lapin de Pâques

Chocolate eggs have been on the shelves for a few weeks now. Children are eagerly preparing for the hunt for eggs laid by rabbits. Others are decorating their Easter eggs while waiting for the bells to come back from Rome.

But do you know why? Even if it is linked to a religious tradition, according to a German legend, it is an invisible rabbit that hides the eggs in the garden.

As for the bells that stop ringing from Thursday to Sunday, the children are told that they have left for Rome. Well, they do believe in Father Christmas, so bunnies and bells are a good idea.

Anyway, for us, it’s a nice little weekend ahead. A day to relax, enjoy the family and eat well.

In memory of the happy memories of my childhood, the hours spent dipping hard-boiled eggs in different colours and then decorating them with different patterns. It was an opportunity for us to relax a bit and express our talents… well, especially those who have some when you see the face of my eggs… but shhhh I won’t say anything.
